Monel Wire Mesh

Monel is a nickel-copper alloy that resists chloride stress-corrosion cracking — the failure mode that can crack austenitic stainless in warm, salty service without any visible rust first.

Specified for seawater, brine, hydrofluoric acid and reducing conditions where 316 will not last. Stocked from 2 mesh through 100 mesh. When Monel beats stainless.
